Jay Fitzgerald rightfully questions the sanitized coverage of yesterday's anti-war march.
In my experience, these rallies always contain significant numbers of fringe subgroups (anarchists, socialist Worker's World Party, the anti-Israli contingent, etc.) whose views are an embarrassment to most of the genuinely concerned anti-war marchers. Inevitably, the incendiary banners, masked anarchists beating plastic drums and anti-US sloganeering become invisible in the coverage.
