Peace in the valley:

Can you see the Globe and Herald pooling resources, sharing printing presses, etc? That's one thing suggested in this article, by Scott Van Voorhis, covering potential changes in our newspaper market.

I assume that one paper would be much less likely to attack the other when it's sharing costs with it. Would that mean that the days of the "boring broadsheet" slams would be over?
