Maybe those radio spots are paying off. One poll has Romney tied for the lead in Iowa and another has him ahead in New Hampshire. I'm seeing more Romney and Clinton in that 08 crystal ball.

Meanwhile, Romney, in an effort to distance himself from us, continues to portray Massachusetts as the "bogeyman" and "that very difficult state." Not everyone's buying it. From the Times:

“Romney is trying to say that he foiled a robbery in a brothel, the brothel being Massachusetts,” said Ralph Whitehead, a political analyst at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. “But the question people will ask is, What was he doing in the brothel in the first place?”

Hmmm. I think we all know what role we citizens played in that little analogy.
