London investigation:

A revision, now that some facts are becoming known. Four explosions, timed precisely. The explosive material, though not yet known, does not appear to be homemade and was about ten pounds in each case. The number of fatalities is speculative, as recovery is still underway, but appears to be about 50.

Witness statements indicate that the bus bomb, earlier thought to be a suicide bomb, could be a case of the terrorist who was en-route to drop it on a train, running late. It's possible that the timer caused it to detonate where it happened to be at the designated time, in the bus on the lap of the bomber.

Stories of survival and near misses are being told by Londoners, for whom life now goes on.
