The Mayor believes it's a problem. The State's top judge thinks it's a problem. Community leaders think it's a problem. The legislature thinks it's a problem. I guess only Dave Bernstein from the Phoenix doesn't think witness intimidation is a problem.

This reporter never saw it when visiting murder trials this year. No juror has been quoted in the local media citing intimidation as a factor in any acquittals or hung juries. Court officials do not perceive it as a problem.

It's mind-boggling that the feature reporter for the (albeit free) Phoenix could be so strikingly out of touch with his subject matter.
