Protecting the red herring:

I found a bit of cognitive dissonance in the Globe article on wind energy when it came to the Cape Wind project. William Delahunt has been using as justification for his opposition to the project, it's "potential to harm an ecologically fragile environment."

But John Holdren, Director or the Woods Hole Research Center (who's motto is "protecting the integrity of the global environment") is for wind projects off New England's coast.

"The wind option is too good to miss," [...] ``We ought to be leading this charge, rather than resisting it."

I'd say Holdren has the better environmental credentials. Delahunt needs a new tag-line.
