It looks like sanctions will be the only real option for dealing with the recalcitrant North Koreans. People there are already eating tree bark, but what can you do? Kim Jong Il just won't quit.

As their economy continues to disintegrate and the country becomes more and more primitive, I'm sure our satellite photos will start showing them to be building huge intercontinental catapults. (And instead of estimating launch windows by monitoring fueling, we'll watch as they wind the giant elastics.) It's insanity.
