Michelle McPhee seems to have Andrea Cabral on the hook for an overpriced, taxpayer funded holiday party. But some things in the story don't make sense. Cabral is the Sheriff of Suffolk County. Why is a city auditor involved in reviewing county budget items?

There's probably an explanation, but it would have been nice if it had been part of the story. Good stories should raise questions, but not basic procedural ones like this.
